A great, small cigar. Mild and flavorful. Makes my afternoon commute a pleasure. – Billy
Perfect cigar for guests and amatuers that dont finish larger cigars. Yet they get to smoke a premium, mild, smooth, hand made dominican beauty. I also smoke them on short car rides or when i want a quick 10-15 minute smoke. Pick up a tin or 2 for your humidor! – benny
I haven’t tried many “little cigars” or cigarillos yet but this is definitely my favorite. Mild, smooth, creamy almost buttery flavor w/the slightest hint of cedar and even slighter sweetness on the ocassional puff. Also a little peppery as it nears the band, but again, this is slight. Quite a nice treat for a such a little cigar, great to enjoy when you’re on the go or just don’t have time for a full size smoke. The Arturo Fuente Cubanitos used to be my favorite of the small sizes but these have replaced them. I get a better draw with more smoke and they are also slightly cheaper than the AF Cubanitos (and a bit milder as well). I will always keep a tin or two of these in my humidor. – Jay In Phoenix
Smoke these all the time,a real treat for something so small(love the maduro also)I always start with an ascot they are so good.A great all round smoke, you can inhale if you want they are that smooth. – aussie shaun

I just finished a Baron De Rothschild. I thought the Prince Phillip was good…well this smoke was even better!!! Very smooth, great draw, excellent taste to the very end. Will definitely be buying more of these. – Jay
As always a superb smoke. Smooth flavourful and just the right size for relaxing with over a drink and conversation. – Rob
Rated 87. A firm cigar with a firm draw. It has notes of wood and sweet cream and a solid tobacco flavor. Mild to medium bodied. – Cigar Aficionado, August 2006

Wonderful 30 minute mild smoke. Great value too. – Sit Wong
This cigar was smooth and creamy but lacked anything that amazed me, on the mild side but overall a good short smoke. – Paul Smith
This is the cigar that started it all for me. I always have a few in the humidor. The Caviar Cafe is quite mild, inexpensive, and a fine pick for sesions a bit short on time. – Richard Walton

One of the very first cigars I ever tried. Liked everything about it down to the glass tube. Look forward to continuing to smoke these. – Kenneth
The perfect non-Cuban cigar. For those who enjoy mild bodied cigars, the Macanudo Crystal is a sure bet. The best two non-Cubans I have smoked are Crystals. Smooth like a Mac should be, with more flavor than the easily available Hampton Court. I love the glass tubes! Definitely try this cigar. You will be impressed. – Mac Nut

I was disapointed in the cigar. There were three of us that smoked it and agreed that it left a bitter taste. I would not this cigar again. – Jay Dring

I bought a box of 25 and enjoyed every one. I found the 86 rating to be right on. There were only 3 that burned (marginally) uneven. The taste and draw was exceptional as I have come to expect from a Macanudo. – Jason H.
2 words…. over-rated. The quality construction is apparent and the burn was also above par. The flavor, however, is lacking in so many ways; no character, too mild, and the only complexity came through on my palate as a soft minty/floral tone. 86 is a stretch; the over-pricing of these cigars make me want to give it a 79 maybe 80. – Tyler C.

This was the first Macanudo I have smoked and it was pretty good. I’m usually not into mild cigars, but this was very smooth and had hints of cream in it. Even burn, and a very mild taste, the Macanudo is a must try. – Jon Lung
Rated 87. A decently constructed robusto with a matte brown wrapper. The draw is fairly even, presenting woody, cedery notes along with some grassy, nutty flavors and a muddled, creamy finish. – Cigar Aficionado, August 2007te brown wrapper. The draw is

THE PERFECT HALF HOUR SMOKE! ALWAYS FRESH AND SATISFYING. EASY TO CARRY AROUND IN YOUR POCKET FOR THOSE SHORT TRIPS ON THE RUN. – M.J. EMMI
Hampton Court was my first Macanudo…… EXCELLENT!! Smooth, good even burn, good ash…an excellent cup of java and this stick is pure heaven. – Eric
I was surprised and disappointed to find the cigar uncharacteristically bitter from the first puff. This is the only poor experience that I have had with a Macanudo cigar as the other labels in the Sampler were very good. – Ptarmandiblex
I gotta tell ya, I’m new at the cigar game… At 53, I’ve only been seroiusly smoking them for about 2 years. That said, probably my absolute favorite is the Hampton Court by Macanudo. Its smooth flavor and pleasant aftertaste is very enjoyable. I find it a wonderful cigar. – Paul Needham, San Franciso
Heaven on earth. This cigar is perfect. Mild but very flavorful, burns excellent, perfect size, tastes sooo good. I would smoke 10 a day if i could afford it. – Benny
I smoked one the other night with my girlfriend who picked the cigar in Arizona. It looked and smelled beautiful. However, it was impossible to get a decent draw from it. I poked the punched end with a needle many times to no avail and finally cut the end with a guillotine; agian to no avail. It was very disappointing. – Richard Hayes
yeah i agree with everything so far, a smooth mild smoke. Also a somewhat fast smoke as well, great for about a half hour to fourty five minutes. If you want a smooth mild cigar under 8 dollars choose this for sure – mike

Good cigar, burned evenly, mild taste. Really bad smell during and afterwards though, non-smokers tend not to like the smell. – Kev H.
i smoked one and found it a little on the spicey side…………… good drag but not very mild! smooth draw but kinda pepery… – Brian
I just smoked the one that I recieved in my cigar of the month bunch. WOW this was a very good cigar. The taste was smooth and the burn was nice. Im going to some of these tonight. – Dave Aguiar
I must concur with my buddy Bert- these cigars are fabulous anytime of day no matter what the mood. Simple and pleasing, an ideal cigar for the beginning cigar smoker looking for something not too complex that they can enjoy. Love it! – Big Jay
The Hyde Park was as outstanding as the Hampton was disappointing. Pleasantly mild and aromatic but not short on flavor. Nice draw and a pleasing, slighly sweet taste. Like others, I did enjoy this little jewel to the last “drop” and this one ranks as my favorite of teh Macanudos. I will be a repeat customer on this one. – Ptarmandiblex
A good mild cigar with a great taste and great undertones. Smooth caramel and cream on the palate with light wood on the finish. A great starter cigar. – Mike

I have smoked the Portofino on numerous occasions and have found myself very satisfied. Will definitly smoke more of these fine smokes. – Bryan Susanville Ca.
My favorite next to Hampton Court by Macanudo. Smooth and silky at start and has a nice medium bodied finish to it. Good draw, good ash all around good stick. You gotta love Macanudo if you love mild, mild to medium sticks… – Eric
One of the best. Always satisfies. Mild yet flavorful. Always in my humidor. Good for newer smokers or gifts. This is the stick I reach for after ditching another unsatisfying brand. – cu
This is without a doubt my favorite. Every time someone asks to try one, they comment on how much they enjoy the flovor and smoothness. This cigar is highly recommended! – R. Burford

These are great cigars. Good draw flavor and after taste. I also like them because they hold there ash and are slow burning. But a while back I made the mistake of putting a Prince Phillip in a box with other cigars of different strengths and the flavors mixed and it tasted terrible. Last time I do that again. – John
Overall a very nice stick. Although still something of a novice, this has quickly become one of my favorites. The Prince Phillip has a pleasant, mild taste that develops body and spice as you go along. Never bitter, I smoked to within 1/2 inch. Very smooth without a strong aftertaste. At 7.5″, it is an extremely enjoyable smoke for a long evening. – El Presidente
